This proposed legislation is more harmfull than good. I do
understand the need to clean up our air, but at what cost? This
harsh new regulations would practically spell the end Sport Fishing
in California. It's not just the 1000s of boat owners, but the
support personnel on the boats, and the landings, and the landing
operators themselves. And the local tackle shops, suppliers and
manufacturers. Can California afford more un-employment? Loss of
license and tax revenue?

I am a private boat owner, so the loss of this industry may not
directly affect me today. But what is next? Will my boat be
targeted in the future?

Because of the high cost and excessive regulations, California is
rapidly becoming a state where people do no wnat to live.
