| Comment | I am a Southern California native, and have enjoyed fishing for most of my 71 years. I find it difficult to afford offshore fishing, but if these new regulations are imposed on the California Sportfishing fleets, it will eliminate any chance for me to enjoy some truly great fishing experiences. This would not only effect me, but my grandkids, who really enjoy fishing. Mexico is going to be the only option, but their safety inspections leave a lot to be desired. This I know from first hand experience. A boat I fished, and vowed never again, sank killing I believe 5 American sport fishermen. Truly a shame. Is this what we have to look forward to? Please don't destroy the California Sportfishing fleet with these crippling regulations. Thank you, Mike Cone |
