The proposed Amendments will take away the pleasure and excitement
of being on the open sea in a safe environment for all who love to
fish and eat fish.  My dear departed husband and I were enthusiasts
all during the 1990s and 2000s.  This was a happy Friday night to
go out and come back on Saturday, forgetting all of our troubles
and the world other than where we were at that moment.  The
camaraderie and experiences were the best!  Many young men were
able to go out there and either work on a boat, which was
therapeutic to them and were able to make some cash, much less
having the adventure of a lifetime.  My sweet husband passed away
in May of this year and I have a lot of rods, reels and gear in my
garage that I would love to donate them to a cause for young kids
who want to learn to fish.  I hope this blessing will not be lost
to regulations that would destroy West Coast Sportfishing.
