Please do not burden our family run sportfishing boats with
unbearable regulations and fees. Our California economy is breaking
and every person working needs a clear path. These draconian engine
emission regulations would require existing boats to be scrapped
and multi-million dollar new boats to be purchased and would
effectively make it nearly impossible for small business owners and
operators to continue to function but also make it too expensive
for the majority of the anglers who enjoy trips on these boats.
This will kill the entire industry of sportfishing for generations.
Please do not pass these proposals.
