My name is Matthew Wydro, I grew up fishing in San Diego, and would
be greatly saddened to loose my only access to saltwater offshore
fishing. The proposed regulations will be a severe blow to our
fishing community if they are implemented. Please, from a born and
raised California citizen, exempt the sport boats as you did the
commercial fleet. These boats are family owned small businesses and
cannot conform to these constantly changing regulations. The
engines do not exist for these vessels, and replacing them would
drive out of business.
