| Comment | Dear CARB, I am a 56 year old native Californian who has been enjoying ocean sportfishing since I was in 4th grade. My early years were spent fishing on boats out of San Pedro and Long Beach. I now reside in Orange County and have been sportfishing out of Newport Beach and Dana Point. Please reconsider these new regulations that will certainly put the California sportfishing industry out of business as we know it or make it financially unfeasible for local fisherman who enjoy the occasional fishing trip. I really can't believe that one of my favorite pastimes is at risk of being gone forever. Thank you, Chris Saalberg |
