To whom it may concern,

I strongly oppose these regulations proposed to set forth on the
Sportfishing Industry.  With these new regulations, over half of
the Sportfishing Industry will have no choice but to go out of
business.  This would crush family owned and operated businesses. 
Not only will you be crushing their livelihood but you would be
killing a beloved family past time and hurting people's chance of
fresh seafood to feed their families.  My son has a dream of owning
one of these boats one day, this is his livelihood, this is what he
loves the most and you are trying to take away his dream, and make
it impossible for him.  There are so many other things in this
world that need regulating, this is not one of them!  Newsome is
trying to destroy everything good in this state.  A sport and a
pastime to be out in the open air and waters to experience the
ocean life, the whales, bring back fresh seafood to eat.  It
doesn't get much better than that!  Please don't let this happen;
this would be devastating for our state!
