As a deep sea sport fisherman for over 25 years, the sportfishing
fleet has brought my family and me many fond memories.  Being on
the ocean and catching fish is one of my favorite feelings.  As I
now have children of my own, I have been able to create new
memories taking my kids fishing. They now share this same love of
fishing, and I hope to make many new fishing memories in the
future.  The new proposed regulations on boats will put many of the
existing boats we love out of business.  This will limit our
options for going fishing, as well as making fishing on the
remaining boats much more expensive for us and many others.  As a
result, this will prevent us and many others from enjoying our
passion of fishing.  There is also a significant concern for the
well being of the boat owners, captains and crews of these boats,
as losing these boats will leave many without jobs.  I feel that
decreased emissions and environmental impact can be achieved with
less drastic regulations.  Thank you for your time and I urge you
to support saving our sportfishing fleet, as well as many other
boats.
