Your proposed regulations alarm me!  Do you have any knowledge or
association with the sport of fishing?  Can you believe you're
attempting to abolish sport fishing?  I have a better idea!  Go
after the NFL!  Yeah, get the NFL in a tizzy but for a real issue
-- unlike your alleged issues with sport fishing.  The players in
the NFL suffer great bodily injury & brain damage from concussions
leading to abuse & psychological suffering.  Too painful for a
family to endure.

These regulations are not only a direct threat to family businesses
and outdoor tourism, but future access to offshore fishing and
marine life! Mark our words, as boats are removed from the water,
fishing participation rates will decline and so will fishing
license sales that fund critical offshore and inland conservation
and fishery programs - programs that are essential to environmental
sustainability and access to plentiful fish.

Please reconsider dropping your proposed regulations.
