As a sports man and a lifelong fisherman I am
against the engine and hull changes these pro
posed regulations require.
The regulations would place enormous cost on 
the Ca Sportfishing industry that is mostly family 
business that can not afford to make these very
expensive modifications to their vessels.
Most will simply go out if business being unable
to afford the proposed modification.
The California Sportfishing fleet has such a tiny
carbon footprint, that requiring these changes 
would be laughable but for the fear of Governor 
over reach into private business.
Don't destroy a industry that has already suffered 
through a pandemic that was nearly a death toll to
small business and with much hard work and the 
family run fishing boats survived.
