I find the proposed amendments will restrict the passing on of a
culture of accessibility/inclusivity that is rooted in
sportfishing. The proposed legislation undermines a culture where
ALL are welcome on a boat no matter their race/gender/religion
/etc. by being affordable. This proposed legislation will destroy a
sportfishing culture rooted since the early 1900s. I propose that
you can come to a better solution that does not force a fisherman
to sell their boat to an "out of state market". A goal of
California has been to reduce homelessness in urban areas, this
amendment will greatly hurt thousands of jobs and who they provide
for to put more families on the streets. Please come to a better
compromise.
