Please reconsider the proposed engine requirements until the
technology to implement these engines is proven and affordable, the
proposed tier 4 engines will not work in existing boats.
Sportfishing is my passion I operate the New Del Mar in Marina Del
Rey , it's a large half day fishing boat . We take thousands of
people fishing annually, it is a fun easy and affordable way for
the general public to enjoy the ocean and fishing. We take out all
types of people of all ethnicities and social backgrounds, first
timers to old salts that have been fishing their entire lives.
Sportfishing is an important part of the California culture and
tradition, please allow us to keep the way of life alive!
