Eliminating ocean going diesel vessels will do little to nothing to
negate the impact of carbon in our region and planet. It will,
however, adversely effect the lives of many businesses and those
seeking recreation. Diesel trucks and pickups still travel the
roadways with considerable emissions to the atmosphere. Factories
are still spewing carbon daily to satisfy the needs of the buying
public. Start there first. This proposal provides very little bang
for the buck.
