I'm a huge proponent of reduced carbon emissions, but not at the
price of the livelihoods of an entire industry.  

If you actually care about the working class like you claim, then
you won't enact legislation that has a disproportionate impact on
the working class. 

This is your chance to prove you're not a hypocrite, and not enact
legislation applauded by your rich consitutents who are not
impacted by this and who obviously don't know/understand/care about
the real impact.

Yes we want to reduce carbon emissions, but don't do it by wiping
out a whole way of life.  If the tech isn't there yet, then push to
make it available, but don't just ignore and wipe out an entire
industry and gentrify sportfishing so you can pat yourself on the
back and preen in front of your rich constituents.  If this
legislation is enacted without addressing the ability of the
sportfishing industry to survive, not only will you lose my vote
but I will certainly campaign against you as hard as possible, with
the full weight of my organization's following, to make sure our
next elected official is actual representative.  OR you can do the
right thing for thousands of working people. I hope you do the
right thing.  Thanks!
