| Comment | I am writing to urge you not to adopt newly proposed passenger boat emissions regulations. By the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) own admission, the proposed regulations will likely remove passenger boats made of wood and fiberglass from service. This would apply to over 80% of all boats, forcing those boat owners and landing operators out of business and devastating seaside communities that thrive on outdoor tourism. Please do not deny millions of Californians such as myself access to beautiful and bountiful coastal waters by implementing these regulations. |
