As a lifelong California resident I am very upset and disturbed by
the government overreach that will ruin the sport fishing and whale
watching industries in CA.  The fact that the CARB has stated that
the new regulations would remove passenger boats made of wood and
fiberglass from service is very telling. Since that would include
most boats, how can the industry survive?  

My husband is an avid fisherman.  There is nothing better than
eating food that has been caught on his reels.  We raised our
children taking them whale watching to learn about the majesty and
grandeur of the ocean.  The fact that the government is trying to
ruin this for future generations is a travesty, but sadly typical
in how the state of California is being run!
