As a lifetime (more than 5 decades) California fisherman I believe
this misguided measure should not go forward. It is impractical and
undue hardship on the men/women and families that make there living
from the ocean. I believe that if this measure continues it will
effectively kill the sport fishing industry that my father
introduced to me and I have introduced to and participate in with
my son. My grandchildren are just becoming of an age where I am
ready to introduce them to the delicious and wonderful world of
ocean sportfishing. Do not deny me and many others that support the
charter fishing industry this pleasure by requiring these
unreasonable restrictions on small business/boat owners.
