Hello,
I am writing to express my concerns with the proposed new clean air
regulations. I am completely on-board with doing what we can to
maintain a clean coastline. I absolutely love the beauty of our
oceans. However, it seems as though these regulations are being
forced without much consideration to all stakeholders. I have been
a lifelong angler. I love the fishing off our coast, and i love the
fishing community here. I have family members whose only business
is in the fishing industry. I am deeply concern about the effects
that the new regulations could have on all of us. I don't want to
see my family members loose their livelihood. I do not want to see
other boat owners loose their boats. I want to continue being able
to fish of this coast. These new regulations will jeopardize all of
this. We need to approach this issue in a way that is sensitive to
all of those that will be affected. We can achieve our clean air
goals, but also balance the needs of those who will be bearing the
brunt of the regulation changes.
