| Comment | The proposed engine changes to these vessels will close down much of an industry in California. The costs to change these engines is too high to justify for many of these companies, which work on such a fine margin. Implementing these changes on all new boats and rebuilds makes more sense. These vessels run mostly miles from shore where their effect to the air quality is negligible. |
