| Comment | This whole subject sounds to me like another California expedition by an uninformed legislature into the 'Land of the Unknown! Beware of Unintended Consequences; for instance have they considered the unemployment that will result from their actions? And that it will hit the most vunerable part of the population? Most of the guys (and girls, as well) who crew on these boats are youngsters, perhaps just have graduated H.S., and trying to make college funds. This is no way to improve the lives of these youngsters! God willing, it may make Republicans out of them! That would also be an U.Q., wouldn't it? |
