The proposed regulations to commercial harbor craft will mandate an
unattainable standard for sport fisherman to meet and continue
operating their businesses. Sport fishing in California is a
culture and tradition that spans generations and brings families
together. Sport fishing charters are great opportunities for lower
income Californians to get out on the water, experience nature and
spend time with family. These proposed regulations will make these
experiences for lower income family's in California too expensive
or non existent. Please don't take away the opportunity for
Californians who will never afford to get out on the water without
sport fishing charters by regulating them out of existence.
