California Air Resources Board-
I fish.  I fish for outdoor recreation and to put health protein on
my family's table.  
I started fish on sports-fishing boats with my parents before I was
old enough to need a fishing license.  I brought my kids up fishing
as a family activity and life-skill teaching opportunity, and to
provide them with the same opportunity I value as a kid, and as I
continue to cherish.  
The sports-fishing industry provides the public the means to get
out on the water and enjoy the benefits I described above, that few
can afford to do on an individual basis. 
Please do not destroy the sports-fishing industry or mandate
capital cost improvements/retrofits that will drive up the
admission price to preclude the middle-class from participating; if
the proposed CARB regulations are implemented, sports-fishing will
become an activity only the wealth can afford.
Please allow me and my family to continue fishing by working with
the sports-fishing industry to find a mitigated solution that does
not sink the fleet.
