| Comment | CARB, Your proposed regulations will devastate the local Sportfishing fleet. These boats create thousands of jobs and opportunities for the public to access our state's bountiful fisheries resources. Without public funding for conversion of the fleet to meet the proposed regulations, your actions will be a death sentence for the industry and will deny access to offshore fishing for the majority of the middle and lower class public. Please consider amending your plan to avoid the destruction of our fleet. |
