| Comment | My name is Ron Koyasako I'm the owner of the the sportfisher Nautilus out of San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf. I have owned the Nautilus for 3 seasons now and have turned a failed business into a successful fishing business. I bought the Nautilus as it had a Tier 3 Cummins 6.7 diesel motor and a certificate of inspection from the USCG for 20 passengers and 2 crew. The boat is well maintained and is 30 feet by 12 feet. With the proposed changes , it would be impossible to retrofit with a filtration system, Tier 4 engine replacement or batteries as space and weigh on a boat of this size would be prohibitive. The boat was manufactured in December of 2015 with USCG specifications. I would like the CARB to reconsider the Harbor craft air regulations or give us more time as technology, USCG and boat owners are not ready for such drastic changes as no solution is available.
