There are very few certainties in life. We trust some things that
we are told because others have passed that knowledge along, and
their consistency in truth has given comfort in that knowledge. We
also know some things to be certain about these proposed amendments
to commercial harbor craft regulation. 1. We know that these are
amendments are proposed. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. They
are indeed proposed. They should not be considered as final
regulations. They should only be considered to be proposed. They
should also not be considered regulations that are not proposed,
for they are indeed proposed. 2. We know they impact the way
California regulates commercial harbor craft. It should not be said
that they impact residential craft, like speedboats and inner
tubes. Paddle boats will also have to wait for their own
regulations. 3. We know the deadline for comments on this item is
November 15, 2021 by midnight. Anyone who says that these comments
are due by November 14, 2021 by midnight is simply wrong, and
undercutting this important deadline. Thank you for your time.
