I realize that fossil fuel needs to be eliminated from the Earths
eco-system but this attack on ships is totally unjustified. How can
you mandate equipment be used that dose not even exist?            
   
  On a personal level, I have reached retirement age and my main
source of recreation is fishing. Both fresh and saltwater. How can
dismantling an industry, like sport-fishing, solve problems? You
create many more problems with this approach than anything solved.
How am I supposed to enjoy my retirement? I already have a
significant investment in equipment. That investment will become
worthless, just like peoples jobs, their boats, their livelihoods.
  Focus on real problems. Homelessness, covid-19 containment,a
stable government that actually works for the people that voted for
You. Please do not ruin a California industry that is a part of MY
LIFE. I am a native of San Diego and enjoy most of the aspects of
what this initiative will destroy. Changes that CARB proposes will
take time to implement, so please slow down and do it right. Let
REALITY catch up to the proposals!
