Dear California Air Resources Board Members,
I strongly oppose the proposed amendments to the Commercial Harbor
Craft Regulations to require new engines and technology. 

My family and I have enjoyed fishing and whale watching trips on
small commercial boats. Your proposed regulations would almost
certainly make many go out of business. One of the best ways to
protect the coast and its waters in the long-run is to have people
use and enjoy it in small boats. Your proposed regulations are
counter to this important goal.

If you want to protect the air, use some of your funding for better
forestry management to fight future wildfires, which have a huge
impact on air quality, rather than putting small businesses out of
work and preventing the use of the coast.
