Hello, I am writing this letter to urge you to consider amending
the Harbor Craft proposal put forth by the Governor. As a
commercial fisherman and owner of a fishing charter business I am
keenly involved in this issue. The proposal as written will put
many of us out of business. We as an industry not only generate a
huge tax and fee base for the agencies that govern us , we provide
a priceless service to so many of our citizens. Engaging people
with the natural wirld is of great benefit to us all. My experience
of young and old people enjoying themselves and their families,
brought together for a day of fishing is what keeps me doing this.
Please reconsider the proposed changes to our industry. It is vital
and important to all of us that you do so.
