| Comment | There are not enough fishing vessels for charter fishing in the Bay Area now. They cannot possibly make a difference compared to automobiles or industry pollution quantities in California. Please do not make stringent rules to ruin the ability for fishermen to access the bay and ocean without owning their own boat. It already costs over $200 to go fishing for a day. You will ruin an industry without any noticeable gain in air quality. You will never get cooperation from the large shipping companies that frequent the Bay Area ports, so why go after the small vessels that live here and pay taxes? |
