Comment | I have been a CCDET certified tester since 2011. From my experience marketing my business, I have heard many concerns regarding the PSIP program. I have spoken with some who feel there is lack of enforcement and, therefore take the "I'll wait until i get caught" attitude. Many claim they have never heard of the regulation, so they too take the same "I haven't been caught yet" attitude. I even speak with personnel from California State Entities that believe they are exempt because they are part of state government and refuse to test even when presented with the PSIP Facts. It is my opinion that unless there is additional education/notification regarding regulation requirements, and stricter enforcement of the regulation, such as requiring submission for registration renewal, etc., that the regulation will continue to be scoffed at by many. Respectfully, Curtis Bogert Accurate Truck Inspection & Testing CCDET # 4-1516-I |
