I  support your proposed amendments to the Low-Emission Vehicle III
Greenhouse Gas Emission Regulation.  Car companies and their
lobbyists such as the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers are
pushing for a single national set of rules for both emissions and
greenhouse gases. If they are successful, it will be vital for
California and other states who share our concerns (and which
represent about one-third of the market for new cars in the U.S.),
to create a separate market, raising complexity and costs for the
industry unless they voluntarily meet the higher
California-complying standards. California must maintain its 
stringent standards against efforts by Trump's EPA to weaken the
requirements.
