| Subject | New rule to reduce air pollution from ships |
| Comment | Thank you to the staff at CARB for proposing a rule to increase control of particulate matter and other air pollutants from more types of ships and tankers. I am a native of the Bay Area, suffer from asthma and have children and grandchildren who have more serious conditions than I. We all deserve clean air and yet suffer from pollution than can be drastically reduced. I urge members of the CARB to vote for these improved air pollution control requirements to a greater types of ships. Your vote in favor of thee stricter regulation will show us that you truly care about the health of your district residents. Improved health outcomes will diminish public health financial burdens and increase productivity of us workers. Thank you |
