I am of the opinion that the test fuel as specified in TP-512
should be CE10. As such it will then harmonize with the new EPA
regulations. CE10 is a standardized test fuel and easily
obtainable. Also within TP-512 as writted it is unclear whether
the fuel hose and primer bulb must be tested as an assembly or if
they can be tested separately. I'm in favor of the later. The
individual components should be certified separately by the
respective manufacturers.

The requirement to test 6 specimens is excessive. The SAE J30 and
J1527 standards only require 3 specimens and this is satisfactory
with the new EPA rules.

Thank you
