Hello,

I am writing to give my support to the regulation for in-use
off-road diesel vehicles.  I think that this regulation will help
everyone since we all enjoy clean air.  It will especially help
the people working with the vehicles in mention since they are in
closest direct contact to the pollution being created.

Construction equipment is the second largest source of diesel
pollution in the state, accounting for 20% of particulate matter
(soot) and 16% of smog-forming Nitrogen Oxides (NOx). These
pollutants are two of the biggest pollution hazards for public
health in California and throughout the country.
