The CARB Board should address several changes to this regulation including altering the procedure to obtain an EO, utilizing current on-road data collection to validate in-use DPF performance, allowing the retro-fit of Tier 0 Portable Equipment and utilizing proven and tested on-road DPF components for use on Off-Road, Portable and Stationary Equipment. The attached letter provides specific details to the aforementioned recommended changes. |
