I am writing to request that you improve the Draft
2022 Scoping Plan to be adequate for its intended purpose of
addressing the challenges we face from climate change. Our current
situation calls for bold action!
No more investment in fossil fuel infrastructure -
only investment in renewable energy sources
Accelerate the phase-out of oil and gas extraction and
oil refining
Fund actions proven to capture carbon from the air:
plant trees, compost, regenerate soil
We cannot afford to hope for new technologies that
might address the problems, we need to implement what we know
works, and we need to do it as fast as possible!
Please take the actions we desperately need.
