ambitious Scoping Plan that leads to an accelerated pathway to
carbon neutrality so that the state’s 40 million residents
and future generations of Californians can live in and thrive in a
cleaner and healthier environment.
COMMENT:
I feel a 4 day work week for the
working class (paid same as a 5 day work week) is a real reduction
on traffic exhaust emissions approaching 20% as well as providing
the economy an additional day for society to spend or share
this time and money to learn, or to spend the 20% additional
income (32 hours work is paid for 40 hours ) as they
see fit. This could provide a large part of California's
population to share with other family members the time to
focus on life's many challenges. This is not a new idea...
many countries are moving in this direction. LESS TRAFFIC,
LESS CONGESTION, LESS EMISSIONS. Existing infra-structural impact
is less suvere with more time to adjust to extreme measures and
negative economical impact as required. Thank you for
