Subject	We need an earlier plan for carbon neutrality
Comment	Along with so many others, I was disappointed in the lack of forsight and leadership in the 2022 Climate Change Scoping Plan. California is a leader in this country (and, frankly, the world) and we should demonstrate that we take climate change extremely seriously. CARB should adopt a Plan that: - Calls for carbon neutrality by 2035 - Employ more transit-based strategies - Accelerate phase out of gas appliances - Not rely so heavily on carbon capture and storage - Reduce the emissions in the beef and dairy sectors through promoting plant-based alternatives Anne Sheridan SanDiego350, Public Policy Co-chair
