I urge CARB to act to help California scale up
its investment in zero-emission and mass transportation options
like clean cars, clean trucks, and transit accessible and
affordable to working-class Californians.
California needs to eliminate its reliance on
climate policy dead ends like carbon capture and sequestration and
focus on a coordinated and complete phase out of fossil
fuels, with clear targets for oil refining by 2045, oil and
gas extraction by 2035, and a clean electric grid by 2035.
This is about our future. We must act boldly,
and there is no time to lose.
