I have been into remote area of the Amazon, stayed in the
village of Saryaku, where blow guns and blue tooth exist at the
same time. I have seen the tar pools draining into thje
Amazone whigh Chevron refuses to address, La Brea tarpits right now
that Chevron pretends make no difference to the waters of the
world's largest river. California, largest consumer of Amazon oil,
must lead, as it does other ways, in showing how the world's 7th
largest economy can prosper as a healthy, leading, piece of our
