Hi, my name's Nikki. I'm an Angelino, born and raised in CA. I
love CA, but I'm deeply concerned about our massive consumption of
Amazon oil. I ask that the CA. Air Resources Board take these
crucial steps to save our planet's precious resources:
1. Commit CA. to a policy/regulatory agenda that ensures that
CA. refineries aren't sourcing crude from regions with Indigenious
rights violations or from regions where new oil drilling in the
Amazon is being planned.
2. Present a
plan for CA. to reduce and/or eliminate its consumption of crude
from the Amazon.
3. Commit CA.
to new fuel efficiency standards and expanded electrification of
fleets that consume the most Amazon oil.
