Subject	Importation of oil from the Amazon
Comment	We must not only not increase but decrease California's purchase of oil from the Amazon region. The State of California must continue to be a leader in reducing the use of fossil fuel. Individuals and companies that currently use oil from the Amazon should be given a short time frame to change their systems requiring such oils to systems that use renewable and sustainable fuels. A transition period of 3 years should be imposed with heavy fines thereafter for systems requiring fossil fuels. Global warming is a crisis for everyone and we must act accordingly.
