I don't know how much more small businesses, like ours in
California, can take when it comes to the never ending stream of
new, costly, regulations like the California Air Resourses Board
Climate Change Scoping Plan. As if Covid didn't already hit
us hard enough! Were still trying to find people willing to
work, and now you want to increase our operating costs by requiring
us to switch out our gas vehicles to electric vehicles and
more! Our business relies on us being able to get to our
customers and charge them a fair price for our service, yet you all
want to raise our operating expenses with more regulations and
require us to change out all our vehicles to electric ones.
We can only stay in business in Claifornia if our customers are
willing to share in the costs we incur to run a business
here. Your proposed Climate Change Scoping Plan will most
likely put us out of business in California and cause me and my
family to move out of California altogether!
I encourage you to Stop, Look & Listen to the people in
California and wait until the economy and the world political
climate improve before raising the cost of living in California
with the "Climate Scoping Plan". I think the number of people
that will leave the state is higher than 85,000!
