I am with
the California Retail Hardware Association, representing the
interest of over 800 independent hardware store and home center
owners in California.


    

  1. We would
like to see a study on how the 2022 Scoping Plan impacts small
businesses in California.  
    2. 

  2. How does the
2022 Scoping Plan help small businesses save money?
    3. 

  3. How will
this be rolled out? and to ensure small business understands and
has enough time to make the necessary changes to their operation. -
frivolous lawsuits are a problem in California.
    4. 



 


California
is a challenging place to do business. We need to listen more to
the small business community about their challenges and help them,
so they do not go out of business.


 


Also, "small
business" was only mentioned twice out of the 255-page DRAFT 2022
SCOPING PLAN UPDATE MAY 10, 2022.
