California Air Resource Board,
To whom it may concern:
Assembly Bill 32 (AB 32) passed in 2006 as a
solution to reduce greenhouse emission in California. I do not
believe there has been enough study to actually validate that
banning of the use of gas cars or equipment. Electric cars and equipment
still require energy to operate them. The need for coal, gas and
diesel will still be needed to meet the needs of the consumers, who
purchase electric vehicles or equipment.
California will need to place more charging
stations and based on their fast response to improving the roads,
the citizens of California will be completely dependent of the
government. It’s unfortunate, that this bill is not being put
on hold due to California current crises. We the citizens of
California are asked to flex our energy needs during periods of
high usage because the demand is more than what is produced. We are no longer in 1990
and should look at reducing emission by producing more in the
United States and not in other countries that have no regard for
clean energy solutions.
California citizens are highly taxed, so who
will be paying for the billions it will cost to implement AB 32. I
will not be buying a electric vehicle (EV) and the board in charge
of this recommendation are a bunch of incompetent fools, who live
off of tax payers money. Time for change!!!!
