Carbon Neutrality, Hydron stands ready to assist in transformative
change in the transportation industry by supplying Zero Emission,
autonomous ready vehicles for long haul trucking. We are dedicated
to solving one of the most difficult decarbonization problems - how
to provide sufficient range, power, logistics, and uptime in the
heavy-duty long-haul trucking sector, without increasing strain on
the electrical grid.
Hydrogen trucking can replace diesel emissions with similar
range and refueling profiles and higher uptimes. Hydron's
contribution to the coming hydrogen economy will allow our vehicles
to operate without the necessity of high current draw and long
charging times typical of heavy-duty battery electric vehicles.
Autonomous operation enables increased fuel and energy efficiency
while at the same time reducing peak road demand with near
continuous operation. Additionally, the reduction in criteria
pollutants from diesel emissions is of specific interest to
environmental justice communities who currently bear the brunt of
PM, NOx, and other harmful emissions from heavy trucking.
Hydron looks forward to participating in future CARB programs to
demonstrate the ways that our platform can assist CARB in achieving
the lofty goals of the 2022 scoping plan.
