Thank you so much for all the work you've done on what is
overall an excellent plan. However, I think it is a mistake to rely
on future emissions limitations based on carbon capture and
storage. Despite Decades of work on it. Carbon capture is not
effective and emissions will continue. As Found by Mark
Jacobson at stanford, Carbon capture overall does not limit
pollution, and at best captures about 10% of emissions. Proponents
of carbon capture have been working on the technology for decades
and this is the best they can do. Further, carbon capture
technology will only serve to allow fossil fuel to continue to
dominate our fuel sources for decades to come and inevitably the
taxpayers will bear the brunt of those costs. Please put the money
into more Renewables instead. You can look at this source, to
understand all the problems with carbon capture.
