California needs to scale up investment in zero-emission and
mass transportation options that work for our communities. Clean
cars, clean trucks and transit must be accessible and affordable to
working-class Californians. I urge CARB to:
. Roll out a full, coordinated phase out of fossil fuels, with
targets for oil refining by 2045, oil and gas extraction by 2035,
and a clean electric grid by 2035.
. Accelerate and scale up investments in clean cars, trucks, and
mass transit for working class Californians across the state.
. Eliminate reliance on climate policy dead ends like Carbon
Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) on polluting fuel
sources.
