The big oil companies pay analysts to spot trends. Decades
ago the analysts & scientists informed them of the coming
problems. But instead of transitioning away from fossil fuels and
investing in clean energy these big companies stayed in their rut,
thus imperiling all of us. Now they are whining about the
companies that did look into the future and invested in green &
clean energy R&D. They had their chance over twenty years
ago to do what is right and they failed to heed the warnings.
They need to be shut down completely before our environment gets
any worse.
