This plan is unreasonable! Very few people can afford an
electric car or pay for new batteries for one. The
infrastructure does not exist for charging that many cars.
Those that live in rural areas and travel great distances when on
vacation would not be able to do so with so few charging stations
and not reasonable if more existed. Have you not thought of
the long lines and time involved with electric vehicles? None
exist that would tow my trailer. My husband and I travel at
least 2 times a year for 2 months at a time. We are
currently on a 4 month trip with our travel trailer in Canada and
Alaska.
What are we supposed to do for generators when PGE shuts our
power to prevent forest fires?
Get in the real world and be more sensible when it comes to
these plans.
